Congratulations on your successful weight loss goal. I am afraid you will not achieve a downsize to a 32 C naturally. Evidently, the implants chosen were too large. You have two choices: wait to have a revision in 6-8 months or learn to live with what you were given. I am truly sorry.Best wishes and kind regards,

A breast lift would reshape the tissue along with skin tightening, but it does not require removal of breast tissue.  You may have residual swelling of the breasts for months so at one month it's too early in your recovery to make judgments.

Hello,If you really had a conversation like you described, I'm shocked. There is no way any surgeon can predict the size of the bra you'll be wearing after breast surgery; there is simply no correlation between implant volume and cup sizes. This is even more true when a breast lift is involved. The fact of the matter is that cup size is not a useful measuring tool. You even said yourself that after weight loss (and presumably loss in breast volume) that you went UP in bra cup size. It appears as though he placed high profile implants, which you simply just don't need. Have him replace with lower profile/smaller implants. Best of luck!

Dear sarahaas,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast lift and augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides  you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD

Hi and welcome to our forum!Healing after breast augmentationinvolves readjustment of the skin and soft tissue envelope to the presence ofthe added fullness and weight of the prosthesis within thebreast. The "drop and fluff" phenomenon may take 3 months or so. Following surgery, 60-80% of your postoperative swelling will subside by the 6th week, with the remainder dissipating over 6-12 months. It is still a bit too early to assess final size as you are only 4 weeks out. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon at your next visit and continue follow up care.Best wishes...
