My breasts are large enough and fairly shapely and in the right place BUT they are a little bit flat on top. I'd love to know if this procedure can give me a little bit of my fullness back. I'd like to avoid a breast lift.

Answer: This may help you. Dear nnwarren,It is possible to achieve increased fullness with fat transfer. Unfortunately, this procedure will not address nipple position and overall breast shape. Of course, a proper physical examination with a plastic surgeon would be the only way to gauge your candidacy for fat transfer surgery and to gauge your expectations for the final result. I wish you the best of luck!

Answer: Giving volume where it's needed Most breast fat transfer is focused on the upper half of the breast. The majority of patients who request this procedure are postpartum women who have breast fed. Most women who breastfeed develop breast engorgement followed by loss of breast volume, especially in the upper half of the breast.Gravity also plays a role. This procedure is excellent for women who desire a modest breast enhancement, especially in the upper half of the breast. We refer to this procedure as Up A Cup. It's a fitting expression since most patients can only expect to add one cup size of volume after breast fat transfer.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
