Answer: Dermal filler is a great option for you Hello and thank you for your question. It appears you have a gap in your columella (middle portion of your nose between your nostrils) where there is thin skin overlying the two separated medial crura of your lower lateral cartilages (which make up the structural framework of the columella). Because of this separation and thin skin, you see this dent on the overlying skin. I am not sure exactly how the laser therapy is supposed to help with the dent you're concerned about here. Sometimes after rhinoplasty, there are focal asymmetries and depressions which become visible over time as the post-op swelling resolves. My preference is to address these areas with dermal fillers, particularly if it is before the full 2 years post-op. This is what I would recommend to add volume and fill in that dent in your case. Fillers are a quick, easy, minimally invasive, and very effective method for smoothing out any focal indentations to make the nose more symmetric and improve the overall rhinoplasty result. Of course they have to be periodically reinjected, as they naturally dissolve over time (usually over a year or so). The alternative is a full blown surgery, which is much more invasive. I would advise you to just get filler injected into the site, especially since you are looking for a non-surgical option. I hope this helps! Best Wishes, Dr. Donald Groves Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Removing a “dent” from the nose Thank you for your query. A small amount of filler is the best non-surgical option to correct the “dent” in your nose. Lasers and creams are not usually helpful in this situation. Please find an experienced board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns.

Answer: Correction The dent you describe is a hollow of your skin between the two medial crura. This correction will involve opening up the nose and suturing the crura together to correct the contour deformity. A filler can be tried but will be temporary. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos I can say that the dent will not go off without a surgical process because it occurs due to the surgical problems. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Laser will not help This "dent" is caused by the natural separation between your lower lateral cartilages. No skin treatment (laser/microneedling/cream/etc.) is going to help this because the dent is caused by a structural change deeper to the skin level. If you don't want surgery for this, the next best option would be to consider filler, although you want to make sure you go to a very experienced injector and you are prepared for the risks associated with filler injected to the nose. Good luck.
