I had a 8lb baby & my skin on my stomach is now loose and wrinkly. I try to work out but I feel its not going to get rid of this ugly skin. I'm not sure if I need any type of surgery, skin cream or laser Skin tighting.

Answer: Tummy Tuck Thanks for your question. I would recommend meeting with a surgeon because you might benefit from a full tummy tuck. Often times women seek tummy tucks when they have excess skin and muscle laxity that cannot be resolved through diet and exercise. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Answer: Tummy Tuck with liposuction Hi, mjf2014. Based on limited views of your body, you may get a great result/contour from liposuction of waists/flanks and tummy tuck. As you know, most women will have some degree of skin laxity and muscle laxity after pregnancy. Tummy tuck is a great procedure to get rid of excess abdominal skin as well as tightening the stretched out core muscle. If you are done having children, you will get a great outcome from tummy tuck with liposuction of the sides. Please make sure that you are at your stable, goal weight and that you are medically optimized. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated in-person. Good luck. - Dr. Kim
