The swelling has gone down and the results look great but I think I'd like a little more ( a very minimal amount). How long should I wait to go back? I've read that it might expand so these might not be the final results, if so at what period do you think my final results show?

Answer: Restylane Results for Improving Under the Eye -- Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP It can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Restylane. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. These areas can take several weeks to completely return to the new normal following filler injections, and a repeat treatment in close proximity to the original treatment may result in more filler being placed than necessary. Hyaluronic acid products soak up water or hydrate over time and may take several weeks to see the most accurate final results

Answer: Under eye filler If after 3 weeks you desire more volumization, it will be safe to return for more. Second time around, be more judicious as to how much product is added. Instead of one additional vial per under eye, get 1/2 in each. You can always return for more. BestH Karamanoukian MD FACS
