Answer: Tear troughs filler Dear vickywilson, filler can be injected in the tear trough area to get great results. These are high risk areas so be sure you go to someone well trained such as a plastic surgeon. I will tell you, some of the results I have in my office with filling these areas are extremely satisfying. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery

Answer: Tear Trough Hi @vickiwilson. Hyaluronic acid facial filler products that were previously injected into an improper tissue plane can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections. Best of luck, Dr. Nima.

Answer: Improving Under Eye -- Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Tear Trough Treatments - disappointing outcome. How to correct filler under the eyes Hello,As other suggested, it would appear that the issue is related to the one performing the treatments versus the product itself. Although we prefer not to use "Belotero", the technique will always trump which gel filler one chooses. From your photos, it would appear that you are now left with asymmetry. Having a photo of yourself prior to treatment will help a future injector determine what can be corrected. In our practice, this is the most popular filler treatment we perform for both male and female. Regardless of plastic surgeon, dermatologist, or skilled nurse, choose a practitioner that is well-versed in these treatments for a safe and satisfying outcome. Yes, it is disappointing for you to have tried this many times. Please consider addressing your goals again as a good correction would be very satisfying. We perform many corrections for patients with a similar story as yours. Please see the below link for additional information. You are also welcome to contact us directly for more specific feedback.

Answer: There is no substitute for seeing someone who knows what they are doing. These filler services are fantastic but they are challenging, fussy services. Many injectors who are performing these services just lack the skill and anatomic knowledge needed to perform these services. Fortunately the filler can be removed or modified to improve the situation. Your treatment can be improved but you need to see the right doctor.
