Is it normal to have puffy areolas two months post op? (Photo)

I know it's frustrating, but it can take anywhere from 3-6 months for your breasts to heal and drop/settle. So, even at 2 months, you are still in the early stages of healing. Wait until 6 months and if the puffiness is still present, speak with your surgeon. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Thank you very much for this interesting enquire.Its too early to talk about final results with 2 months after the procedures. In my practice, after performing a Breast Augmantion with lift I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

to say that you are still early on healing process, it is too soon to determine
how your results are going to be, per now, they look very nice and beautiful,
you can have one bigger than the other, it is normal and that can happen for
the first 3 months until your implants have settle in. I recommend you to wait
and keep using your post surgical bra, that will help you with the shape and

Until six months have passed you can't judge your result. If your surgeon was a board certified plastic surgeon who does a ton of lifts and augmentations you are in good hands. Be patient and good luck.

Being that you are two months out of a breast procedure you are likely still very swollen.  It will take many more months for the swelling to go down.

Maybe, at only 2 months this could be residual lymphatic edema. Best to have close follow up with your chosen surgeon. In my practice I offer infusion of PRP to the area wit Red Laser light Txs..
