How long after fat transfer can I get Botox?

Question

If I want to be absolutely conservative, is there a safe time frame after a fat transfer that it is safe to get botox? A lot of the fat that was put in was in my forehead area and temples, near where I would be getting the botox.

Botox should not  hurt the fat that is transferred, However, the area will be swollen from the overfilled fat so it would be best to wait at least a month for the treatment.

Thank you for sharing your question.  If you are only recently out from your fat transfer I would prefer to limit any further interventions in the area until you have largely healed - 3-4 weeks in time.  This will allow any swelling to resolve and the tissues to return to normal.  Botox itself will not affect your fat grafting results as it works on the underlying muscles, but increased swelling may.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the detailed question. Everyone heals at a different pace, but it's best to wait for all the bruising and swelling to go down after a fat transfer to the face. Anywhere between 3-4 weeks should be fine. Botox works on the muscles in your face so it is best to wait until they can be clearly assessed without overlaying bruising/swelling to ensure the correct treatment plan and optimal results. After all the swelling and bruising are gone you are safe to have Botox injections so wait about 3 weeks post surgery

Typically, botox should be administered a week or more prior to fat transfer procedures for Optimal results. However, if you've already had your fat transfer and a week has passed, it is safe to have Botox treatment. Good luck for New York City

If you have had fat transfer into your forehead and templee, and you want to have botox done in the same areas, i would recommend gap of 1 month.

I do a lot of fat transfer to the face with and without facelifts. It is safe to do Botox at the same time a fat transfer.
Just make sure your doctor is putting the Botox into the muscle and not the fat.
