Will micro-needling fix the wrinkles that the Botox didn't fix under my eyes?

ashamarie1.   Rarely, certain regions, like the mid-brow, "11" areas are resistant to Botox.  First question, has Botox worked there in the past?  If so, then placement of injections is the issue.  If Botox never worked there, then filler, like Juvederm Ultra plus is a better option than micro-needling, in my opinion.  Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. A solid skin care plan is the foundation of wrinkle prevention and correction. However, most commonly, for the 11s, I find that patients who do not correct with Botox alone need dermal filler added for more correction. I use Juvederm Volbella or Ultra or Restylane Silk or Refyne in this area. Injection is done slowly and carefully, remaining superficial in the skin. For under the eyes, tear trough filler (most often, Restylane) may be added over the cheek bone. Although microneedling works less effectively, radio frequency microneedling or laser resurfacing with C02 or Erbium can be very effective for wrinkles here.

Botox works on the muscle by preventing the muscle contracting. Thus improving on dynamic wrinkles.Some people have very deep, etched wrinkles that require both Botox and filler for maximum improvement

The short answer is no it will not help.  Be sure you see a board certified dermatologist who is experienced in the use of the materials and a combination of Botox and filler should be effective

Botox works on Muscles and prevents them from moving. If the area on your face is a Etched lines,meaning you see the lines at a natural express Botox can help soften but wont fill in the line. Micro- needling is a great treatment, but can take multiple treatment in order to see great results and does not work like botox. There is other treatment options for under the eye area that can work well, like dermal fillers.
