dentist said RC good from 3 wks ago but I still hurt. Steroid pack and antibiotic prescribed after the RC. said the x-rays indicate I have no infection and my residual pain is from trauma. They lost crown impressions and had to redo them and resend to lab so i’m back with a temp but due for perm. in 2 wks. Thanks for thoughts

Hello and thank you for your question. It’s difficult to tell from your pictures. I recommend following up with your Dentist or a Prosthodontist to make sure this is not an infection. A Prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has advanced training in tooth restoration.
For the weekend you should be fine if everything is sealed up correctly. Since it has been treated with a root canal it should not cause you any pain. There may be more treatment needed before the final crown is placed on however. Depending on the dentist they may decide to re-do the root canal...
