I have been wanting to get lip fillers but I'm debating if I should even if I have a venous lake on my lip.
Answer: Considering Lip Fillers with a Venous Lake: What You Need to Know While I cannot provide a diagnosis or personalized medical advice, I can offer some general information that may be helpful. A venous lake is a small, benign vascular lesion caused by dilated blood vessels, commonly appearing on the lips or face. When considering lip fillers in the presence of a venous lake, it's important to consult with a board-certified dermatologist or a qualified medical professional experienced in cosmetic procedures. They can assess your specific situation and determine whether lip fillers are a safe option for you. Factors to consider include: Location and Size: The professional will evaluate the location and size of the venous lake to determine if it might interfere with the filler procedure. Potential Risks: There may be an increased risk of bleeding or bruising if the venous lake is disturbed during the filler injection. Treatment Options: If the venous lake is a concern, your provider might suggest treating it first, potentially with procedures like laser therapy, before proceeding with fillers. Ultimately, a personalized consultation will provide you with the best guidance regarding your cosmetic goals and any potential risks involved.

Answer: Get rid of the venous lake 1st and then get all the fillers you want. It is easy to zap a venous lake and then you don't have to worry about. Sometimes it takes a couple of sessions zapping it under local but 1st just get rid of it. Later get all the filler you want.

Answer: Application of filler around“ Venous lake” in the lip and It is not clear what diagnosis of venous lake means and who made it? Providing that it is a true vascular malformation that consists of enlarged veins it is not advisable to apply filler of any kind around it. Filler may be misplaced or transported into large venous channels and create not only thrombosis of the lip, but possibly face, eye even brain. Hope this helps.

Answer: Lip fillers and venous lakes A venous lake is a benign vascular growth, most common on the lower lip, and occasionally on the ears or elsewhere. Lip filler would be fine, you just need to be careful not to inject the venous lake otherwise there will be a fair bit of bleeding & bruising. Another option is to do 1-2 vascular laser treatments to clear up the venous lake, & then do your lip fillers.
