Cupid's bow, vertical lip lift, heightened lip border - Juvederm Voluma or Ultra Plus?

Voluma is thicker than ultra plus and may cause superficial irregularities in your lips. Ultra plus is thicker than ultra and is able to be contoured better than voluma to give the look you want. I hardly ever use Voluma in the lips as it's best used in the face for volume where the skin is thicker and can camouflage over any irregularity that can't be molded. I recommend Ultra plus for your lips.

Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. However, if you want to lift your lip higher then the best technique is a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This procedure takes 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $4,000.

Big giant lips do not look good on most women, Please do not go too large. Voluma is stiffer and will last longer, but is not approved for the lips.

If you are wanting maximum volume you can use Voluma in the lips. It may last longer, but you need to be aware that the feel will be more stiff as it is a thicker filler. You may want to go slowly and work up to the look you are wanting. Discuss your options with your injector.

For long lasting of volume of Voluma is to filler of choice.
I usually use slightly less volume when using this product.
In my opinion, it gives the best value.
Considering how involved lip filler treatments are. It’s better to go for something that lasts.
All of that said by far the most important variable is provider selection.
Finding a talented injector is difficult.
Most people are not good at finding the right provider and the finding the right one is not at all straight forward.
When it comes to lip fillers, average work isn’t really that good in my opinion and most providers are average.
Only exceptional providers deliver consistent, exceptional results.
Because provider selection is so important it trump‘s all other variables.
