I’m interested in getting lip filler & I’m doing research based on my goal. I’m trying to get my top lip as big as my lower and get a LOT of volume & projection from the front & side & nice lift to my entire vermillion border & tons of volume in the tubercles. I have a fast metabolism so we know I would need a thicker filler. I want to either get juvederm voluma off label, restylane contour or Lyft. Which will give me tons of voluma & height & longevity at least 1 yr
Answer: Which Filler is Best for Achieving Voluminous Lips: Juvederm Voluma, Restylane Contour, or Lyft? When considering lip fillers for achieving significant volume, projection, and longevity, it's important to choose a product that matches your goals and needs. Here’s a brief overview of the options you mentioned: Juvederm Voluma: While Voluma is known for adding volume and is typically used for midface augmentation (cheeks), it can be used off-label for lips. It's a thicker filler, providing substantial lift and projection, but it might not be as flexible or natural-feeling in the lips as other options specifically designed for this area. Restylane Contour: This filler is designed for dynamic areas, offering a natural look with movement. It’s typically used for cheek contouring and may provide a softer, more natural enhancement rather than the dramatic volume you’re seeking for lips. Restylane Lyft: Known for its firmness and ability to provide significant lift and structure, Lyft can be used off-label for lips to achieve a more pronounced volume. It’s a thicker filler, which may suit your needs for volume and projection while offering good longevity. Given your goals for significant volume and projection, Restylane Lyft might be a suitable choice due to its thickness and ability to create structure and volume. However, it’s crucial to consult with an experienced injector who can evaluate your specific anatomy and goals to recommend the best filler for you. They can also discuss how different fillers interact with your metabolism and what to expect in terms of longevity and results. Best of luck with your lip enhancement journey!

Answer: Mix and Match I see you're looking for significant enhancement with your lip fillers, focusing on balancing the volume between your upper and lower lips and achieving pronounced projection and lift. Given your goals and the rapid metabolism you mentioned, I recommend two specific products from Restylane, which won't alter the natural color of your lips—a concern with some other fillers that might leave your lips looking unnaturally pale. At DoctoraVital Med Spa, we specialize in a customized technique known as Lip Renaissance. This approach allows us to tailor the treatment to individual needs using various techniques and fillers appropriate to their properties. For structure and definition, I would suggest Restylane Kysse or Lyft used with a vertical technique, and for the Vermillion border if needed. To enhance the volume in the tubercles and provide overall lip fullness, Restylane Contour would be ideal. Although these fillers are durable, I recommend a follow-up visit within 6 months. This isn't due to the longevity of the fillers but to progressively build upon the initial results to achieve the optimal outcome over time. With this approach you should be able to enjoy your full lips, with maintenance once a month.

Answer: Lip augmentation question Out of all the listed products Lyft is probably the only one that I would use but I would still urge you to use a lower density hyaluronic acid filler such as Revanesse, Juvaderm or Restylane. These fillers will provide you with the results you want and softer lips. I hope this helps and good luck from Leonard Grossman MD organic Plastic Surgery.
