Why did I developed a third eyelid crease? Is it can allergic reaction or is this common? How can I fix it?

Two and a half years ago now, I woke up and my right eye looked a little puffy, as if I had been crying. I also seemed to had developed a third eyelid. The strange thing about my eye is that the crease changes, some days its more prominent than others & maybe once a month it will disappear completely. My optometrist flipped my eyelid up and said everything looked normal. When I do yoga, it sometimes disappears for a day. Could it be an oxygen problem? Is there a nonsurgical way to fix this?

It may be related to hollowness.  An analogy is:  letting air out of a balloon causes it to deflate with "wrinkles".  That can be improved by filler or fat injection. See an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation.

The intermittent crease is a common reason to have crease surgery and would appear to help in your case.

You have  avery interesting finding.The problem is anatomic. As such the the treatment that has the opportunity to correct this is surgery. Upper eyelid surgery though is straight forward and has a painless recovery in good hands. It can even be done to you under local anesthesia only.Non surgical treatments will not correct your situation.In addition for best symmetry and results both upper eyelids must be operated at the same time. The reason why your right eyelid has a triple fold is because the skin there has gotten loose. The skin laxity and shape of the eyelid can be corrected with upper eyelid surgery.

The only way to fix this issue is through surgery. Be sure to have your eyelids evaluated by a board certified surgeon with expertise in revision eyelid surgery.

This is a very common occurrence and probably 20-30% of my Asian eyelid surgery cases are for this problem specifically.  It tends to come on or happen To patient's The little later in life such as their 30s or 40s.  However, I see it earlier quite often as well.Basically you need upper eyelid surgery to create a single uniform crease.  I would certainly stick with someone who is an expert in Asian eyelid surgery by myself.
