I feel like it's not enough fat that was grafted. Right now my butt is swollen but I'm sure after the swelling it will go down and get smaller right ? I honestly would have liked more fat grafted like 600cc on each cheek . Would that have been too much for my height ?
Answer: 4'10 and 120 Pounds, had a BBL. 340cc was grafted. Was 340cc was enough fat transferred for my height and weight? Thank you for your question. Before and after photos would've been helpful and how far you are out from surgery. In any case, based on your height and weight, your BMI is 26. This tells me that you have more fat which could've been harvested and transplanted. Where many surgeons fail, is the degree of sculpting they do. A BBL procedure is not only how much fat one transfers, but the ability of the surgeon to sculpt the rest of the torso to better define the buttocks. I use VASER Hi Def Lipo technique for the fat harvesting and body sculpting. This is a highly technical and artistic surgery. Wait 6 months for you to heal and then seek a second opinion with a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in advanced body sculpting techniques. Remember, you have one good chance to correct this. The more surgeries you have, the more internal scarring will happen and fat harvesting becomes more difficult. Good luck with your healing.

Answer: Is 340cc enough? The answer to this question depends on how much fat you had to harvest. If the surgeon told you that all you had was 340cc, then they should have told you upfront that you did not have much fat, as 340cc will make little to no difference. Typically, we will only transfer fat if there is at least 600cc to transfer, and even that is a minimal amount. Most patients are requiring 700 - 1,200cc for optimal results. Best of luck!

Answer: BBL Dear cindeeluu, the amount of transferred fat depends on your weight and existing fat tissue. If you don't have much fat then you can't expect a lot of enhancement of your buttocks. Also, based on your description, you are petite so you would probably need less fat to get good results. Right after the procedure you can expect swelling and you would be able to see the final results once the swelling subsides. If you have any concerns, please consult your plastic surgeon. Answer: How Much Fat Is Enough For Brazilian Butt Lift? Nearly impossible to give a personalized assessment without before and after photos. At 4'10" and 120 lbs, you likely had more than enough fat to graft more than 340cc per cheek. Personally, unless the patient is very slim and has no significant fat, I don't graft anything less than 500cc as less than 500cc yields a minimal result. Also, the amount of fat your buttocks can accept will depend on your dimensions and skin elasticity. Sometimes another round of fat transfer six months or more later is necessary to get the desired result. Share your concerns with your plastic surgeon.
