I got into a fist fight and damaged my nose X-ray reports say it is a minor hairline fracture so strapping or surgery is not required at all medicines ice and rest will do the job. My nose isn't crooked it's just swelled from a lil bit under my eyes to nose bone. So since it is a minor injury will my nose be exactly same as it once was? Thanks in advance :)

I've never heard of hard sniffing or heavy breathing causing the nasal bones to shift after rhinoplasty.You should contact with your surgeon regarding your congestion concerns. It's expected to have congestion initially after rhinoplasty.
Dear CaliLily, I would check with your surgeon and confirm what is in the protein drink. Many of these drinks contain vitamins and herbs that could cause bleeding concerns. A protein drink that was just protein would be fine mixed with water or juice not milk. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
