thank you for posting your question. There is no evidence that arnica helps with postop swelling. Depending on the type of rhinoplasty that was performed (open or closed) and its complexity (grafts, osteotomies), swelling is expected. The swelling will gradually disappear. One study showed that about 80% of the postop swelling has settled within 6 weeks after surgery. Nonetheless, postoperative changes will continue until scar maturation has occured (about 1 year). Arnica has not been shown to be helpful, but my thoughts are that it does not cause any harm, do take it if you would like.
