Watched a sad movie and started to cry. Afterwards a pulsating vein appeared on my nose. A month has passed and it’s still there. My question: is this treatable?

Answer: Nasal vein. The vein shown drains directly into the cavernous sinus and therefore treatment with sclerotherapy has a very high risk. The only treatment I would consider for this would be to suture the vein above and below and then do a micro phlebectomy. I would proceed with extreme caution for any elective treatments of this vein.

Answer: Nasal vein. The area between the medial eye and lateral side of the nose as posted in your picture is an area that I would not recommend treating since the vein drainage from this area is to a vein that goes to the eye and to the brain. I would not be willing to risk a problem with these veins clotting.
