Kamran Afzal, MD, brings an impressive body of experience to his leadership role at Afzal Clinics. Over the years, Dr. Afzal has helped thousands of patients in Fridley, Edina, and Woodbury, Minnesota, find relief from troubling vein disorders.
Education has always shaped Dr. Afzal’s life. He began his studies in Pakistan at Aga Khan University (AKU), completing his medical degree in 1997. He moved to the United States to pursue his education and went on to complete a residency at the University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile.
Dr. Afzal remains connected to education through his role as a trainer for Medtronic®, the company that manufactures VNUS® and VenaSeal®. He’s proud to play a part in training the next generation of medical professionals.
Caring and compassionate health care is a central focus for Dr. Afzal. He strives to treat each patient as a unique individual and makes every effort to get to know the people who entrust him with their care.
Giving back is also a priority for Dr. Afzal. He’s completed extensive mission work in Guadalajara and Honduras over the years, with more than 10 trips under his belt. He continues to seek out opportunities to help others.
