is there less swelling after rhinoplasty if the doctor didn't break the nasal bones?

I just had an open rhinoplasty and was wondering that since my doctor didn't break my nasal bones ( he just shaved them down to make my nose appear softer) would i expect less swelling than someone who did have their nasal bones broken? thank you

It depends on several factors-skin thickness, how much work was done on the radix-either decreasing it, or augmenting it. Since the skin on that part of the nose is thinner, as compared to the rest of the nose, swelling should resolve faster than the tip.
