Why does my nose keep popping/clicking after rhinoplasty?

Question

No grafts were used during the procedure. My hump was removed, my nasal bones were broken in order to close the open triangle roof after removing the hump, and the tip was rotated and de-projected. Now, 8 months later, my nose has been clicking/popping since day 1 after surgery. It click/pops about 5 times per day. No pain is associated with the clicking. I can't figure out where it's coming from, as the location of it keeps changing. I think it's coming from anywhere along my septum. Any ideas?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Clicking of the nose after rhinoplasty may be caused by a multitude of things, including lax fibrous union of nasal bones and cartilages which may be mobile enough to allow the free edges to bind against each other, causing a click if manipulated. As it is painless and stable, there is no cause for alarm. 
However, it would be wise to revisit your plastic surgeon for an endonasal examination.
