Hello! I am 5’2 and around 115 pounds (still dropping weight) - I used to have a bigger cup size (around a DD) but I am a smaller C now. My breasts have lost a bit of their support due to a rapid weight loss, but they are not super saggy so I am wondering if a lift is super necessary when it comes to augmentation in this case? I want to go up to about an E or F cup and I want them to look more natural and not super lifted.. I really do not want to get a lift but I’m worried about my results

Answer: Breast augmentation From your photo it appears you would benefit from a conservative lift to even out the position of the nipples. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your surgical goals and learn more. Your goal cup size is large which would require heavy implants. They would likely pull and stretch the skin over time resulting in a need for a lift eventually.

Answer: Breast lift Dear bzzyb, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.
