Thank you for sharing your question. Yes, once fully healed you should be able to skydive without issue.
Dear SilviaPaz,once you are fully healed, you should be able to skydive. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors. It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. It should not be a problem to sky dive after breast augmentation. I suppose there is a risk of the parachute straps placing force on the breast implants but the cohesive gel implants should be able to withstand the pressure without event.
There are no additional risks to sky dive since you will be diving below 10,000 feet and no need to be pressurized. Just be careful on your landing as always.
Yes, you should be able to skydive after you are fully healed from your breast augmentation. Your surgeon will advise you when you have reached that point. Are there risks? To skydiving? Yes, but it sounds fun! For skydiving post breast augmentation? Once fully healed there aren't any more than those associated with any intense physical activity.
Hi and welcome to our forum!Women with breast implants play contact sports and engage in high impact activities overwhelmingly without a problem. Breast implants are quite resistant to forceful broad based impact. Rarely, punctures may occur with narrowly based impacts. After the initial phase of healing (6 weeks or so with permission from your surgeon)) you may resume all normal activities including skydiving.Best wishes...
An in person evaluation or further photos are needed for the best recommendation. From the photo submitted it appears the nipple is below the level of the breast fold which would indicate a lift is recommended. If you choose to have implants with no lift you will have a larger version of what...
The submitted photo does not show any obvious concerns. I encourage you to visit with your surgeon as she/he is most familiar with your look prior to surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery. Your surgeon can assess you for implant rupture or other concerns.
Large implants wouldn't be recommended for the purpose of "blending" axillary tissue. However the tissue can often be addressed with liposuction to improve the overall contour. When selecting implants you want them to fit your frame and your lifestyle. Visit with a board certified plastic...
The decision to get breast implants is a personal one and should be made carefully, taking into consideration your individual health history and risk factors. Given your family history of breast cancer on both sides, it's important to be especially cautious and consult with medical professionals...
It depends the degree of scoliosis. The curvature in the spine often effects the shape and projection of the ribs behind the breasts. The ribs either directly (submuscular) or indirectly (subglandular) support the breast implant. So, if a person's ribs project more (stick out more) on one side...
There are a few options to improve your asymmetry. You can lift the larger breast and use differently sized implants to get them more symmetrical. You can also reduce the larger breast and then place the same size implants in both breasts to give you the volume you want in both. I encourage...
