LLLT for AGA: -Will the result plateau over time/or even revert back?

LLLT does appear to have benefit, although we don’t know how to determine who it helps and exactly why it works. As long as the treatment is not too expensive, I think it is worth considering. On the other hand, beware of claims that are unrealistic and equipment that is very expensive. 

Given that there are five randomized double blind sham controlled studies published in the medical literature showing benefit, it would appear these are not snake oil. However, they don’t help everyone. What the future holds for any given patient depends entirely on the diagnosis. CTE does not repsond great to lasers but is worth a try as some do benefit.

There is no solid evidance that they are helpful. We actually used to offer them at our office long time ago and when noticed the change is minimal we stopped offering them. 

Your doctor is right on. There is n o real value to LLLT therapy but the business has gone wild as people will spend almost anything on the promise of getting their hair back and the doctors who sell these systems make out very well.
