I have been receiving regular sculptura treatments for 2.5 years (12 vials) with no results. I have been to three different doctors for treatment, and they can't figure out why it doesn't take. Does it not work on some people? I have a very thin face. Results show for a couple of days and then nothing. I also don't respond to fillers such as juvedeem and restalyne. What else can I try? I did try bellafill on my marionette lines, but it migrated beside the lime making the wrinkle look deeper. Any ideas?

Answer: Facial Sculpting with Sculptra, Fat, Fillers
It is not clear to me where in the face you had Sculptra injected. It is definitely not meant for the area under the eyes especially when you have so much skin laxity. Please consult an expert in Sculptra to evaluate. Best, Dr. Green
When I see young women who have naturally thin faces, or have weight loss of some significance, Sculptra is usually my first choice. When properly injected in a series of 3 sessions, the result is natural and gradual and never gives a bulky look. Young patients often get the best results ...
Oral diuretics and prednisone can be used for the swelling or consider just ibuprofen. Arnika Forte helps decrease the risk of swelling and bruising. I recommend following up with your Dr. for options. Best, Dr. Emer.
