Sculptra: How soon should (can) painful inflamed lumps be treated? My face is inflamed, heavier and asymmetrical. Ugh. (photos)

I feel like SUCH an idiot. I am very risk adverse yet I opted for this Sculptra without researching it. My excellent PS recommended it and I immediately reacted with pain and inflammation in the cheek bone area, my jaws were soon killing me and I couldn't even open my mouth by bedtime. My PS has never had a patient develop even a nodule. Yes, I massaged. I have 2 large, hard lumps. How soon should (can) these be treated? I've never seen that question asked here.

Sculptra swelling solutions--prednisone, ibuprofen, Arnkika Forte

Oral diuretics and prednisone can be used for the swelling or consider just ibuprofen.  Arnika Forte helps decrease the risk of swelling and bruising. I recommend following up with your Dr. for options. Best, Dr. Emer.

Sculptra pain and swelling early

This is most likely injection related and not Sculptra related. The granulomas associated with Sculptra occurs months later. I would let things settle down. Perhaps a short course of steroids. Sculptra is a safe and long lasting product that has high satisfaction rates.
