I feel like SUCH an idiot. I am very risk adverse yet I opted for this Sculptra without researching it. My excellent PS recommended it and I immediately reacted with pain and inflammation in the cheek bone area, my jaws were soon killing me and I couldn't even open my mouth by bedtime. My PS has never had a patient develop even a nodule. Yes, I massaged. I have 2 large, hard lumps. How soon should (can) these be treated? I've never seen that question asked here.

I totally disagree with what you were told. Sculptra naturally builds your own collagen and is perfect in older patients where there is usually some skin laxity. I combine this with Thermage for excellent results. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
