Is it ok if I lose 20 pounds after my Brazilian Butt Lift?

I just got my bbl going on two weeks....but i want to lose more weight in my stomach, arms, face, and my overall body weight. 20 pounds will be great!!!! Is it okay?? Will my butt go back to how it was?? Or will it fit to my overall weight loss??

Loosing weight after your BBL will affect all the fat in your body , but your butt will never go back to the same shape than before your BBL. As your body shrinks you will keep the new shape even if it smaller. so the proportions will still look goodbest wishes

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
After a BBL, you lose or gain weight in the same way as before. So the answer is yes, if you lose a considerable amount of weight, the results of your surgery will be affected.
If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

I don't recommend trying to lose weight after a BBL. There is no way to know whether or not it will come from the areas on your body that you want or from your new butt. Eating healthy with lots of protein and vitamins combined with weight training and light cardio exercise.Thank you for your question!

You will proportionally loose the fat.There is no way to make the fat go away in your wanted areas instead of your buttocks.

Your new butt is made out of fat collected from your body. If you lose 20 lbs, the fat in your buttocks would shrink down similar to how the rest of your body would respond to the weight loss. This is why most PS will recommend that you be at a stable "happy" weight before undergoing the procedure.

Hello, you are still in the early stages of recovery and will have swelling and the buttocks will decrease in size somewhat as the swelling goes down and not all the fat that was placed will survive.  As you lose weight, the fat that was placed in your buttocks will react in a similar way where it was taken from.  So lets say when you usually gain or lose weight you tend to see that in your abdomen and if the bulk of the harvested fat was taken from here, you can expect some decrease in size as you lose weight.  20 lbs is a lot of weight to lose and that is why I ask my patients if they are at their ideal weight so that drastic changes in weight will not affect the results.
