Do I need to stop taking birth control before a Brazilian Butt Lift?

I had this procedure done before and I can't remember if I stopped taking them a month prior the last time. My dr. didn't say I had to stop taking them but I know there is a higher risk of blood clotting. Im having my Brazilian butt lift done Sept. 24th . Please let me know your opinion.

At this time implants have a much higher complication rate than autologous fat transfer making fat transfer the more common procedure.
