How long will it realistically take for biofilm infection from dermal filler to completely resolve? Will it completely resolve?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Biofilm reactions can be difficult to eradicate due to bacteria being present anywhere filler remains.  Until the filler is appropriately dissolved, and antibiotic therapy appropriately targeted, it may persist for a very long time.  After such a long period of time I would recommend an infection disease specialist as well as continued high doses of hyaluronidase wherever filler is thought to remain.  Best wishes.
