Not even 2 months ago I had 2 syringes of voluma put in at one week apart into the cheeks and directly into the nasal folds. I was happy with the results. Then just recently I see the lines in the folds coming back when my face is at rest. The filler in the apples of the cheeks looks the same. Why are the lines coming back so quickly. Too soon to have them filled? I don't want to over do it

Answer: Fillers I'm sorry to hear that you feel the results aren't holding up. It's important to realize that each 1cc of filler is 1/5th a teaspoon of product and every face (especially the cheeks) has different requirements on how much volume add. Some practices recommend a syringe of filler for the cheeks for every decade of life. Initially there is some swelling that exaggerates results. You should reach back out to your injector to discuss the results and your thoughts. Furthermore, there are other products and lines of collagen stimulators that may provide different results as well as certain products that work best in specific locations. Photos would be rather helpful in evaluating your scenario. Best , Dr. B in NYC
