I am 54 years old and a non-smoker, non- drinker. I am scheduled for breast reduction surgery, but recently I have read that there is a higher chance of problems with breast surgery for those who are on hormone replacement therapy. Should I cancel my breast reduction surgery and wait until I am off the hormone replacement therapy or are the risks associated really not that severe or common?
