Does it hurt badly to have stitches removed after a breast reduction? I am not looking forward to it at all!

Depending on the type of skin suturing usually these can be removed with very minimal discomfort to the patient. However, discuss your anxiety with the surgeon.

Often, there is no need for suture removal. If suture removal is necessary, it tends to be rather painless process.  This is probably one of those situations where the anticipation is worse than the actual event. Best wishes.
