Post Benelli/donut lift 10 months ago, extremely disappointed with results, worst of which being scars around my nipples along with other problems. Did my PS ruin my nipples for life for a 1-2 cm lift, really? Are there any other benefits/reasons for this procedure? I was fine w areola size. I made the biggest mistake of my life. I was not presented with options, 2 surgeons wanted donut and 1 anchor, so I thought I HAD to do some type of lift. I know I can't go back, regret this everyday. Advice?
Answer: Benelli lift I am so sorry that you are unhappy with your results. In general, a benelli lift is very mild and doesn't give the breast a lot of lift. As you are experiencing. It sounds as if there was a lack of communication between your surgeon and yourself as to the pros and cons. You could seek scar revision surgery on your nipples. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Answer: Benefits of a benelli or donut lift? Thank you for your question. A full series of photographs, or an in-person assessment, is needed to make the best recommendations, but your original Benelli lift can be revised into a more powerful lift (lollipop or anchor incision types) allowing the incisions around your areola to be redone, and any other corrections to be made. See an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation, they can best advise you.

Answer: Benefits of Benelli lift Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your breast lift result. Each surgical options have pros and cons.Beneli (circumareolar) lift scar is contained around the areola itself. However, it is not very powerful lift in a way that it does not lift the breast too much. Also, it give flattened areolar and tends to widen/stretch the areolar.Without seeing your photos, it is difficult to assess your breasts. Please share your concern with your plastic surgeon and discuss the options.Best regards.

Answer: Benelli lift I can't say much without seeing your preoperative pictures, but it would appear that all the surgeons agreed on the fact that you needed an uplift of some sort.As uplifts come, the donut or Benelli lift is the least powerful among them, and I would personally only recommend it when minimal lift is needed, and only together with high profile implants (a donut lift tends to flatten the shape of the breasts). If you didn't have implants, I am not surprised that you do not like the shape and can't see much of an improvement. It may be worth discussing the revision of the donut lift to a vertical or full uplift, with the possible addiction of implants to increase the fullness at the top of your breasts.
