Thigh, nape and beard hair to fill in gaps/scars from FUE?

Hi doctors. I previously had FUE done (500 double hair grafts taken) and it has left some gaps in my donor area. I know SMP is an option, but it’s not one I want. I cut my hair very short, and those gaps are very obvious when hair starts growing out. Now I know beard is a good option for scars because it grows long. But I don’t have enough beard hair. Would leg and nape hair be suitable since I’m only looking to the hair on the back and sides very short (0 or 1 guard) thanks.

If you have FUE scarring and want to hide it with hair with another FUE harvested from your neck, what will you do about the FUE scarring on your neck?SMP can help cover the FUE scars.

If you fill in FUE scars with more hair transplants from thigh, body, neck you will be subject to the limitations of these donor sites.  The neck hair is not permanent hair, and all body hair below the neck has short growth cycles which will show only half of the hairs growing at any one time. Filling in FUE scars can be very expensive and not very effective. In addition, if you use scalp hair for this purpose, it uses valuable donor hair while SMP does not so it is the best option.
