Fat transfer after 2 weeks. Will this be my final result?

At two weeks, it would be unusual for the result to be in its final form.All your questions are highly variable and dependent on your individual anatomy and healing propertiesAre things still changing at all? swelling going up and down daily? Still reducing a bit over time?What does your surgeon say?The good news is that some areas of over injection can be easily treated, however, you must wait till you see your final result.Best of luck

Hi - rest assured that at only 2 weeks out from fat transfer surgery this is not your final result. Of course close communication with your surgeon is vital in the first weeks/months after your surgery, but be sure to ask about other things that can be done to help alleviate swelling/bruising and contour abnormalities after fat transfer (such as massage, ice, etc). Make sure your surgeon knows that you are concerned about particular areas now, but also know that patience will pay off in the end. 

The appropriate volume of fat varies from patient to patient. Your results are far from final. You need to be patient and wait.Generally, at two weeks, people should look better, not worse.Give it a few months and follow up with your surgeon.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
