Quantity of fat transferred to face. Is 15cc considered normal or too much?

Different faces will need different amounts of fat transferred.  15cc of fat is not a lot of fat for a normal transfer.  Often 30cc and up will be used if filling in cheeks, temples, marionette lines.  If you had it done recently a lot of swelling will go down.  So be patient.

15 cc is relatively small amount of fat to be injected into the face.  It depends on what areas are being treated.  I suggest waiting 6-8 weeks to determine if you like the final outcome, swelling takes time to resolve.  Arnika Forte and prednisone help if you are severely swollen, I would speak to your physician.  Best, Dr. Emer.
