Should I worry about a mole on the sole of my 2 year old daughters foot?

A mole has appeared on the sole of my 2 year old daughters foot. I am extremely moley but have none on the soles of my feet or palms of my hands. Should I be concerned about this (mole looks normal) or is it just she will have lots like me?

Call your physician and ask for the results if you do not hear back within a reasonable period of time, perhaps 2 or 3 weeks at the most.

There are many options to improve the scar.  topically a silicone based scar gel with growth factor will help.  lasers can be used at this point to improve the color.  Best, Dr. Emer.
