Is this normal after having dermaplaning and a skin peel combined? (Photos)

I recently had this procedure maybe 11hrs ago and feel like my cheeks are still sore which they did sting a lot when the practitioner applied the chemical peal! And now it looks like I’ve got cuts all over my cheeks from the dermaplaning, Is this a average outcome or a bad session?

Thank you for your question in regards to dermaplaning. It is not common to have cuts after a dermaplane treatment. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel blade to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. This treatment should not leave large scrapes. Tiny cuts are possible. Follow up with the professional that treated you. Good luck!
