It sounds like you are on the path to getting an excellent result! While Botox starts kicking in around day 2, it typically doesn't reach its max benefit until around day 14. This is highly variable amongst patients -- some say they have full effect much earlier -- like yourself! Don't try to evaluate the results of your injections too soon -- wait the two weeks and then assess. If you feel you have too little movement or your brow is down too much, then ask your injector to use less next time. I wish you well!
Up to 2 weeks for full effects. Some people feel the effects of a Botox treatment 3 days post treatment and for some it takes 2 weeks. If you feel it within 3 days this doesn't mean it will spread to other areas.
Hello! Thank you for your question. It can take up to 7 days for BoTox to take effect. Often, patients experience effects within 1-3 days. Your timing is not uncommon. Best wishes!
. Botox usually takes up to a week for full effect. However, this does not mean, in your case, that the Botox will spread to any surrounding areas. Everyone is different and it sounds as if you have just had faster results than most. Good luck to you.
Botox takes 24 hours to 5 days, in general to achieve maximal result. Again, just because it acted quickly does not mean that it will spread and cause problems elsewhere.
The rate that botox works varies from patient to patient, and even with the same patient from treatment to treatment. The concern is valid, and you should check with your injector to ensure everything is progressing as it should.
botox takes awhile to act on the muscles...and the time varies from person to person...but in 3 days your muscles should not already be frozen...actually the botox effects should just now be starting to become visible...in any event the botox will basically remain limited to the areas injected no matter how fast it becomes effective...you should be pleased with the results now and in the future...of course all of this assuming you were injected with the actual product and at a dose within the normal framework...
I can understand why you would be concerned with your result, as you sound like it may have been your first time. Everybody's muscles react differently to Botox. In fact some people would be thrilled if their treatment worked as quickly as yours. You could be just experiencing the Botox kicking in which can feel very tight and restricted, once its fully absorbed into the muscle this will relax slightly. More than likely your muscles are not as strong as some which is why the Botox kicked in quicker. Botox can travel to other areas if injected incorrectly or sometimes if you rub in the area after the treatment. But for it to spread from your forehead to your brow is very unlikely.
Remember that Botox paralyzes the muscles so what you are experiencing is the effect of Botox on your forehead muscles. Some patients will get a faster result and other patients will take longer. Just because you experienced it faster does not mean that it will spread to your brow. As long as it was not injected there by your doctor then it should not be a problem.
For first time Botox users the effects often kick in faster. This is because your body has never had that neuromodulator in there before, and so it picks it up fast."This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. At 4 months the Botox should be almost completely gone. Over time you will build up the bulk of your muscle again. You can attempt jaw exercises in the mean time to help speed up the process. Once the muscle is restored it should help with any skin or face alterations that came as a result of the...
Botox in the masseter muscle can reduce the bulkiness that can develop over time. A once square like or full face can be reduced if the muscle is injected expertly. Botox in this area typically starts to reduce fullness over the course of 7-14 days. It is important to go to an experienced...
It is possible that the prep used to clean the skin prior to the injections flared your rosacea. People with rosacea find they do best using mild products for cleaning and moisturizing their skin. When prepping the skin for injections, stronger more irritating cleaners are used.
