Botox usually starts to take effect at 2-3 days and has it's full effect at 10-14 days. I agree with the physician who commented that this should always be explained to the patient before the procedure is performed. Additionally, if your lines were present at rest they may not "disappear" with Botox alone. As always, I recommend a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced in aesthetic injectables for these treatments. Best wishes.
It actually surpises me that someone who has had treatment needs to ask this question. This is something I discuss with every patient and is on my consent form for treatment. The results may be seen as early as 2-3 days but most people see the complete results 10-14 days after injection. Best, Dr. Emer.
