Had my ears pinned back 2 yrs ago, and I wear a headband to protect my ears every night. Do I still need to wear the headband?

Hi, Im very happy with my ears, but still have that worry at the back of my head that they will go back to how they used to be. I wear the headband at night so my ears don't bend or fold whist I sleep. If I bend my ears or pull them would I undo the stitches etc? Im not in contact with my surgeon for other reasons.
