I went for a consult, the whole experience was kind and thoughtful. I have decided to wait a couple of years until I have more time but at no stage was I made to feel hurried or anxious, I shall definitely go there when I'm ready and if you're thinking of surgery I would consider him. I chose him from all of them and I'm a deep researcher for whatever I want to do. I researched all the UK providers for a deep plane facelift and chose him as I thought he was very open and honest. The fact that he has a video of the op on you tube was great, if a little scary but it showed me what would happen and I got used to it :) All the staff are nice and whilst I waited for my appointment I could see how people were treated - it was all with kindness and respect.
I don’t know where to start other than to say that I will be forever grateful for Dr. Marc Pacifico. He has absolutely changed my life! I had explant surgery (removal of implants and capsules) with a different doctor back in 2023, which left me completely deformed. It was the hardest time of my life, and I thought I would never be happy again—that this could never be fixed. I then decided to have a new set of implants placed by Dr. Pacifico, and I can confidently say that I am over the moon with the results. In fact, I am even happier than I was with my first set of implants! Marc is kind, caring, extremely professional, and incredibly talented. I could not recommend him more highly!
I’ve wanted to get my “boobs done” since I was around 13. I didn’t exactly know what getting my “boobs done” entailed, but I knew from a young age I was really unhappy with the shape and look of my breasts. Although medically they are not tuberous breasts, I was later told they do have a tubular shape which has made me insecure since puberty. It got so bad that it stopped me from wanting to be intimate with partners, and some days I struggled to look in the mirror. I’ve gone back and forth over the years on whether I should go for it, but this year, I decided it was finally time to pluck up the courage to make serious enquiries. I Googled ‘tuberous breast specialists’ in January and Marc Pacifico was one of the first search results. His particular interest in tuberous breasts made him stick out to me. I ended up having a few consultations with Mr Pacifico. His attentiveness, expertise and qualifications made him an obvious choice. He is extremely talented and knowledgable yet I could tell he really cared about me as an individual. On our first consult, before I even had the chance to bring it up, we discussed Black skin and its potential predisposition to keloid scarring; his breadth of expertise spoke for itself. The team at Purity Bridge were lovely and great to work with. I wasn’t able to physically come to the clinic for some appointments but they all made themselves readily available to me and were extremely caring. I even changed my mind (twice!) about the procedure I wanted 4 days pre-op yet Marc and the team were so gracious. Getting my “boobs done” required a lollipop style mastopexy and I opted to get lipofilling/fat grafting too to get a better shape (and lose some inches around my waist!) I’m so happy I’ve done this for myself and I’m extremely excited to be more comfortable with my body. Updated on 2 Aug 2023: I woke up anxious but excited for my surgery, I got to the clinic about 20 minutes early which Dr Pacifico thanked me for because he said it gives him more time to think whilst he’s marking me up with pen. I was so curious about what general anaesthesia would be like, the nurses were right when they said you close your eyes, a second passes and you’re awake again. I felt really groggy after surgery and apparently I urinated everywhere as soon as I woke up hahahaha but I have 0 recollection of anything, it’s really still crazy to me how GA works. My lipo wounds leaked a bit more fluid than I expected, I went to the toilet and felt wet all over my faja; I assumed it was sweat but it was fluid from my lipo sites, we had to switch them a couple of times and change the gauze around 3 times, but apparently this is normal. I remember waking up in the recovery room and looking at my lipoed stomach and saying “I look the same?!” Hahaha apparently it’s just all the swelling; I’m really excited about my post op stomach, I hope I end up looking snatched like I asked. After the recovery room, I went to a room to sit and eat a sandwich and spent some time with the OAP (operating assistant practitioner I think), his name was Bob and his bedside manner was fantastic. He made me feel extremely comfortable and made the whole experience so much better I’m day-of post-op now. My teeth were non stop chattering after surgery so I got some medication for that, but aside from that and painkillers, that was all the medication I’ve had. I don’t feel a lot of pain, I feel a bit sore, and I’m trying not to carry anything heavy or reach too high for things to keep my sutures intact. Overall the pain (with the codeine) is a 3/10, it feels like I’ve been punched in the stomach a bit. My stomach slightly hurts more than my breasts but overall the pain is very mild To be transparent, and to get my thoughts down so I can reflect on them as I heal: I am slightly concerned about my fat grafting. I know Dr Pacifico is an expert so I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about as I only just got my procedure done today, but I have noticed my left breast is bigger and has more cleavage than my right. This (asymmetry) is a concern I voiced prior to surgery which actually prompted me to change my surgery to just a mastopexy, with no fat graft, but I eventually changed my mind back. I’m hoping the unevenness in cleavage is just swelling and will settle as I heal and become more symmetrical in time. I’m really excited to see my new boobs !! Updated on 11 Aug 2023: Day 2 I’m not really in pain, probably a 4/10. I’m lucky to have a close family member who is a nurse so they have been carefully monitoring me and giving me advice. The painkillers are known to constipate you, so I’ve been taking painkillers and laxatives as well as fibre pills. I’m trying to eat whole foods and lots of foods and vegetables to aid recovery. I’ve been instructed to not act like I’m sick and to go about daily life, just with more caution. I’ve been trying to get up and walk around every hour to improve circulation and help with healing. I’ve been on Skinade as recommended by my surgeon, it’s a pre and post op supplement package. As someone who is scared of poor healing/scarring, I’ve been taking the medications religiously, I hope they help! As well as this, my doctor is recommending extended Micropore taping before we switch to silicone I had my first shower today and it was a bit of a palaver, I tried to keep my incisions as dry as possible, my mum wrapped me up in cling film and I had a gentle shower. She then put lotion on me and helped me change my lipo plasters and gauze. I would really advise you have someone to help you for these types of things if you get this procedure done, especially in the first week; idk what I would do if I had to go through this alone I had a concern about a stitch coming out of my right breast, I emailed the team at Purity Bridge and got an answer within half an hour: it’s a stitch knot and nothing to worry about. Their responsiveness and care is second to none Day 3 I woke up in a bit more pain this morning, I’d give it a 7/10. I’m very wary of straining my wounds and trying to be careful. I keep on being reminded to walk upright as the pain is making me hunch a bit and avoid getting up but I’m forcing myself to get up and go for walks I have a lot of bruising from the lipo, there are black marks all over my torso that are tender to touch I would HIGHLY recommend taking medication to avoid constipation. The dihydrocodeine and anaesthesia can really make it difficult to use the bathroom and straining hard after surgery is just not ideal. I used the Fibre + dissolvable tablets from Holland and Barrett as well as a tablespoon of lactulose every time I took a painkiller. I’m going to try and ween myself off of dihydrocodeine by the end of the week and survive off of just ibruprofen I had a wash today instead of a shower and it was soooo much better Updated on 11 Aug 2023: Days 5&6 have been good, I’m not feeling much pain at all. I feel a bit silly as I do think I’ve been stretching my arms and reaching for things a bit too much. On day 3/4 there was something I needed to get under my bed and I got on the floor to stretch and reach for it. Looking back, it was silly and I should have just asked for help, considering tension is the main cause of bad scarring and bad scarring is my main concern !! Anyways, I can’t change it now, I’m just trying to take it easy from now on I’m looking into scar treatments, my doctor is making me be taped up for an extended amount of time- I think standard time is 2 weeks but I’ll be taped for 3/4 due to my worry about hypertrophic/keloid scarring. After that, I think I’m going to undergo a strict regimen of either silagen or kelo-cote twice a day, bio oil massages in the evenings and then silicone tape at night. I’d like to use mederma intense overnight serum at some point, idk when or how it would fit in my routine but it was really effective for me when I got a burn last year, the burn isn’t even visible now. Maybe I’ll alternate between bio oil massages and mederma massages Oh also I’m bruising really hard all over my torso. I’m really nervous to see how my lipo turns out, I’m a bit worried that my surgeon didn’t do enough lipo on my abdomen or contour my flanks in the way I wanted, I’ll have to wait 3 months to see! Day 9 I had my 1 week post op today. I got my lipo band aids off and I’ve been instructed to start massaging them in 24 hours w bio oil. I saw the lymphatic drainage masseuse and she was so lovely, she noticed I’m really swollen and put kineology tape on me to help with drainage. Due to being afro-Caribbean and having a higher likelihood to develop hypertrophic/keloid scars, Dr Pacifico has recommended extended taping of my breasts for up to 6 weeks. I’ll get my tapes replaced next week, I’m really excited to see what my boobs look like Updated on 11 Aug 2023: I got my tapes changed today and I got to see my new breasts for the first time. It’s so surreal to me that this is my body now, I’m so in awe and in love and I can’t stop walking around naked and taking pictures of myself!! I’ve never felt more confident in my body. Updated on 11 Aug 2023: The before and after photo really helped me put things into perspective. Dr Pacifico said we’re not aiming for perfection, we’re aiming for improvement. When I first saw my boobs there was a bit of a dysmorphic feeling, but the before and after picture really helped bring me back to earth Updated on 27 Nov 2023: I’ve been using scar creams and taping really regularly. I’m really really happy; this surgery was 100% the right decision. My breasts have lost a little volume as expected, but I still have amazing cleavage.
I had a positive experience. Have wanted the lip reduction a long time but reluctant to allow just anyone to do the procedure. He sorted out both lips and I am pleased with the outcome. I feel much more confident.
My surgery is booked for August 15th!! I am so excited to finally have the boobs I've wanted my whole life. I will be attaching before pics and updates throughout the whole process. Thought this would help some people out especially women who are very wide set breast wise like myself. 23 year old, 5"4, 9st9, currently a 32D I'll keep you updated with pics Updated on 29 Jul 2022: Thought I would add some pics laying down for reference, the first one is on pillows and the second one is laying flat Updated on 15 Aug 2022: Had my op today, pain is definitely manageable not too bad at all right now. So this is how they’re looking, very round and very high so without seeing them I am so happy with the shape! Also there is no “padding” gauze tho stuff in my bra so this is all my titties Updated on 16 Aug 2022: Pain today is worse than yesterday, about a 5/10 at the worst, incisions are stingy today and breasts are swollen. They feel very heavy when I try to walk/get up but again manageable. I feel like today will be the worst day pain wise anyway so it can only get better from here haha Updated on 17 Aug 2022: Pain today is good, incisions are stingy but nothing too bad. They look so amazing I can’t wait for them to drop a little and feel like boobs! Also I do have one breast slightly larger and one breast crease higher than the other which you can see in the pics Updated on 20 Aug 2022: Breasts look relatively the same, very yellow from bruising still, my right (your left) still more swollen everywhere Updated on 23 Aug 2022: Had a check in with my lovely nurse today, she said she’s very happy with how they’re looking and depending on how my actual incisions look next week I might be having my tapes off which she says some people hate so not too sure how I feel about that Updated on 30 Aug 2022: Got my tapes off today! Still have a little tape on some areas for the moment and my right breast needs to drop still as there are permanent sutures in the bottom incision. Also had a slight reaction to the tape and I haven’t washed the tape residue off yet. Updated on 6 Sep 2022: Feeling better and more “normal” each day, still bruised, starting to scab and use bio oil Updated on 23 Sep 2022: Still so happy with m results. I can wear a normal bra again and I’m just focusing on ace treatment Updated on 18 Oct 2022: Boobs are feeling amazing, really soft now, back to normal in every way and have been for a while. Scars are slightly raised in areas but making sure to take care of them and I think they’ll fade and heal really well Updated on 11 Nov 2022: Updated on 15 Nov 2022: You can see how well my scars ar healing in this photo, they are barely visible when they hang, I have a long way to go with healing of the scars but that will happen with time Updated on 15 Jan 2023: Updated on 20 Feb 2023: Had my 6 month po appointment with Marc, he was so happy with the final shape that has come into place. He looked at the scar on my right breast that was quite raised as I’ve said before so he put a steroid injection into the part that was raised and it has now complexly flattened. Still so so happy it’s my results and I couldn’t recommend Marc enough. He has been so amazing the whole way through Updated on 26 Mar 2023: Updated on 16 Aug 2023: Hey guys it's been a while, tomorrow is my one year post op so I thought I would share why I guess it the final result? My scars are still every so slightly red but I am a slow scar healer, I am still applying scar oil every night until they are all completely white. Still in love with them and so happy within my body now, the best thing I have ever done!
Extremely happy with my results - Mr Marc Pacifico will get you ladies snatched! I am 44 year old Afro Caribbean female. I am severn months post op with extended tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), 360 liposuction and muscle repair. I previously had two caesareans both left my stomach bulging, shapeless, with excess skin and hanging tummy apron. 15 years I tried to reduce stomach fat; I invested in personal trainers spending hundreds on different weight lose plans - disappointingly I did not lose an inch no matter how hard I tried. I had low self esteem and remember having conversations with family discussing tummy tuck surgery. It was a 10 year journey researching visiting many surgeons around the U.K. I did not feel comfortable with the surgeons met nor did I have all the information required to proceed with major surgery. During lockdown I came across an interview with Mr Marc Pacifico in conversation with another highly recommended surgeon. This was the green flag for me. I went straight to his Instagram page looked at all the images, reviews and comments, everything was positive. I continued with more research and came across a patient that recently had a mummy makeover she spoke very highly of him. My first consultation was during lockdown by video link followed by an office visit once restrictions were lifted. I had questions as long as my arm. I did not feel pressured to sign or time restricted. He explained the procedure discussed complications, side effects and also provided a detailed Handbook. Mr Pacifico’s recommendations and final decisions during surgery has given me the best results (Beyond My Expectations) My scar is low, neat, fine and is hidden underneath underwear. I recently took a beach holiday and first time in my adult years I was able to wear a two-piece bikini! My experience has ticked all my wish list. Purity Bridge team and Nuffield Hospital has been amazing they are very experienced, knowledgeable, caring, understanding with great bedside manners. Mr Marc Pacifico is highly recommended. I have zero regrets. Thank you so much for getting my confidence back!
I had a lip lift at Purity Bridge which I am very pleased with. The scar is minimal and the overall results are great. It was quite a painful process, but I'm glad I did it. Mr Pacifico was very professional, reassuring, approachable, and skilled.
As a young woman with a smaller frame having large breasts was very hard on by body image. I felt safe and respected whilst going through all the procedures and I thank Dr Pacifico for so much! Happy!
Mr Pacifico was recommended to me as a specialist who would be able to help me with my problem. From my early teens my breasts had not developed properly - something that truly bothered me up until my surgery. Despite the risk of keloid scarring, all I hoped for was normal shaped breasts, and Mr Pacifico more than delivered. I have minimal scarring, and I feel beautiful now. It was absolutely worth it! Please don't hesitate. Mr Pacifico and the Purity Bridge team were helpful and skillful every step of the way.
From every interaction, consultation through to surgery, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Purity Bridge- everyone is so professional and helpful. Dr Pacifico is not only extremely experienced but the most kind and amiable who makes you feel like your pre surgery self is more than adequate whilst attentively taking in what you wish to achieve. Dr Pacifico is very balanced and really clear about all the variances which can happen with surgery. However, the most significant is that Dr Pacifico achieves superior results. Being a black woman, I had so many concerns about the level of care, my results and the appearance of my scar. All I can say is I am 5 weeks post-op from my tummy tuck and I couldn't be more pleased with the healing and results. Also, I have said it already but I can't stress it enough, if you want the best level of care and exceptional results then you need to visit Purity Bridge.
Many thanks for your question. From what I can see in your photographs, you really would require a lower face and neck lift to achieve meaningful and lasting results. I would not expect too much longevity from a more mini approach, even when combined with radiofrequency skin tightening. I would suggest seeking a couple more in-person plastic surgery opinions to help you decide what is going to be the best approach. Good luck in taking things forwards.
Many thanks for posting your question. From what I can see in your photograph you appear to be a good candidate for a lip lift. You rightly point out features that need to be taken into consideration to ensure good balance and harmony between your upper and lower lips - this should be taken into account by your surgeon. Good luck taking things forwards.
Many thanks for posting your question. There is always a theoretical risk that the eyebrow position and shape can change after the excess skin is removed after an upper eyelid lift. This is especially so if you are slightly elevating your brows (usually subconsciously) in order to maintain their position - something known as compensated brow ptosis. My suggestion is usually to leave the brows alone unless they clearly need addressing too, but recognise they might change, so if they do slightly, it is not a surprise. Normally, most people will obtain a very good result from addressing their eyelids alone. I hope this helps!
Dear Lilymae23 I am so sorry to hear about the way your feelings about your breasts are affecting your confidence and self-esteem. My initial suggestions from what I can see in your photographs would be to consider a breast reduction, which would incorporate a breast lift. You are relatively large breasted and a reduction would reduce the weight of your breasts, and therefore the tension on the skin and soft tissues, allowing the lift to stand the test of time better. I hope this helps and I wish you all the best of luck with your onward journey.
Many thanks for posting your question. It is hard to give a precise answer, but as a rule, 32 would be very young to have a facelift. Having said that, each case is discussed on an individual basis, so there will always be some exceptions that are appropriate in a younger age group.Good luck taking things forwards
