My typical mummy makeovers include surgery to the breasts and abdomen. The abdominal surgery is usually a form of tummy tuck, with or without additional liposuction (a "Brazilian" tummy tuck) and the breast surgery varies, according to the needs of the individual. This may be a breast reduction, a lift or a combined lift with implants, and sometimes implants alone. The mummy makeover has proven to be an exceptionally popular approach to addressing post-childbirth changes and my patients have been extremely satisfied with the procedure.

Face and Neck Lifts

My approach to face and neck lifts is very much tailored to the individual - there is no "one size fits all" procedure, so it is important for me to understand your aims and wishes. In addition part of my role is to carefully examine you and educate you from the perspective of a plastic surgeon - particularly with regard to the neck. The extent of the procedure will in part govern the outcome (both in terms of degree of change and longevity) so it is important we discuss the potential options and the compromises that might be required.
My preferred approach is a deep plane sub-SMAS facelift, ideally with further work under the chin to achieve the best neck possible. However, I appreciate this is not for everyone, so I perform a variety of other facelift techniques, including local anaesthetic short scar approaches for many people who are interested in a less invasive, quicker recovery technique

Lip Enhancement

I frequently perform upper lip lifts, being one of the few UK plastic surgeons who undertakes these procedures on a regular basis.
I carry them out at Purity Bridge under local anaesthetic, and have people traveling from around the UK and from Europe to undergo lip lifts under my care.
I tailor the lift according to the individual, and tend to perform a modified upper lip lift, keeping the scar at the junction between the upper lip and the nasal skin, which settles down very well, without distorting normal anatomy.
Stitches are removed at 6-days, with a further week of taping, and swelling resolves in a few weeks.
I feel that lip lifts are significantly under-rated, often because most people are unaware of them!
