While I am sorry to hear you are experiencing discomfort in your post-procedural appearance, there are certain factors to take into account while assessing the results of your otoplasty. For one, while two months post-surgery does lessen the appearance of swelling, full results may not be completely visible yet. As a board-certified facial plastic surgeon I advise individuals to be patient with their expectancy of results with ear positioning. Secondly, it is important to assess if the ear position was closed by way of sutures. If so, a revision procedure could be performed to reposition the sutures to a more desired position. It is imperative to find a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can provide you with realistic expectations for your otoplasty alteration. Best of luck!

Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and ask to determine the level of your swelling with regards to your ear position. Typically, over a reasonable time, the surgical swelling decreases and the ear position "pops out" a bit. Waiting may be suggested by your surgeon and if so, I would be patient for now. However, if your ear position was secured with permanent sutures and these prove to be too tight or close, a revision procedure maybe helpful though and these sutures can be re-set to a more favorable angle and position. There are several techniques to correct prominent ears, others may be permanent (cannot be reverted) while others have the risk of springing back to its original state. Waiting for 2 months, even longer for the permanent technique, will not make much of a difference since it will never spring back, but for the other technique, you can wait a few more month.
