Hi, I've chosen 300cc, high profile, round under the muscle, Mentor implants. I'm worried I'm going to have a wide gap between the implants and they'll look fake and be able to see the shape of the implants rather than them looking dropped and not stuck on.
Answer: Implant Selection Good afternoon! The 300cc HP has a diameter of 11.1cm, so if the numbers you quoted are correct then that size and profile should fit you well. However, I would also consider the Mod Plus and Mod Plus Xtra, because these implants are a little wider and will fill in the gap better. The one thing I hate the most is a gap more than one finger, so I spend a lot of time getting this right for my patients. Let me just say 300cc is a common size but not in High Profile, and I think you should at least discuss the other two profiles with your PS.

Answer: It's possible. An in person visit is necessary for a definitive answer After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the implants have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Is this the right implant for you? There are many posts on RealSelf regarding the best way to determine the choice of your prior to a breast augmentation. My preferred technique is to guide the patient on a choice of volume and then verify that choice through with three dimensional photographic simulation. The anticipated results are a good representation of a final result. This method should, if performed properly, give you an idea of how natural you could look. The biggest issue that I see in your photos is a small pectus excavatum. The dip that you see at your breast bone (sternum) may result in a greater distance between you breasts than you may wish. As that is the anatomy which you bring to the surgeon, we have to work with those features. In general, I think that your choice of implant is reasonable, but mush be discussed with your surgeon. Best of luck.

Answer: Breast implants You are a great candidate for breast augmentation. I wouldn’t get too hung up in the correlation of chest diameter and implant size. A 300 cc is a good choice if you want to be a small to midsize C cup. There will be a moderate sized gap between the implants but you will still get a great result.

Answer: Correct implants Based on your photo and measurements it appears that your breast bone (sternum) is wide (muscles are far apart)so there will be a gap between the breasts when you are not wearing a bra. A larger implant will not help this very much. As long as the breasts have a soft capsule they should look not look stuck on.
