I have several issues. I have large pores and acne scars, a ton of blackheads on my nose and my under eyes are slightly sunken in and they have mild wrinkles. I have never had any facials or any professional treatment done to my face. I would like to know the best treatment for each of my issues.
Answer: LaseMD tretaments will help minimize appearance of large pores Our office has many different treatments for acne scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Acne scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of acne scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. We often use a combination of treatments that begin with a careful examination to examine the micro texturing of the acne scars. Atrophic acne scars and indented acne scars can benefit from injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane with or without subcision to remove tethered scars and atrophic depression. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your acne scarring. Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Skin and UnderEye Improvement Thanks for your question. Although it is always hard to tell without an in-person consultation, you appear to be an excellent candidate for improvement of your concerns. For your skin, a combination of BBL (Broad Band Light) / IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) with a fractionated Halo laser treatment will help your pores, breakouts and the Halo can even be done over the eyelids for tightening and improvement there. Filler in your undereyes may be a home-run treatment for you, but make sure that you seek out a very experienced injector to work in this area.

Answer: Many Treatments to Help with Your Concerns It is difficult to provide any real recommendations from the photo and you would need an in-person evaluation by a board-certified dermatologist to determine which treatments are appropriate for your needs and goals. That being said, I can tell you that filler to the tear troughs is a great treatment for sunken looking eyes and can really help to provide a more awakened and refreshed look. For mild wrinkles, it really depends on where as to what the best treatment would be - forehead and lateral eyes are typically best treated with Botox or Dysport and mild wrinkling around the rest of the face can be improved with collagen building laser such as 3D. A combination of a retinoid, facials and peels can help get rid of blackheads. Finally, acne scarring can be drastically improved with Sublative Rejuvenation. Again all of these are just hypothetical, as I cannot say which, if any of these treatments, are appropriate for you.
