Had a full tummy tuck two years ago. I then had liposuction to my lower abdomen 9 weeks ago and have a huge amount of swelling. I've attached a comparison picture, left picture is one week after lipo, right pic is 9 weeks after and the swelling continues to get worse. My surgeons office don't seem concerned, but I don't think this looks normal? Surely the Swelling should be decreasing now?

Most doctor offices will provide a closed compression garment that you can wear for six weeks. You can probably find online companies that cater to post operative patients and purchase one yourself if necessary.Best wishes.Jon A Perlman MD FACSCertified, Am Board of Plastic SurgeryExtreme ...
There is no evidence that supplements influence recovery from liposuction. If you want the fastest recovery, consult a dermatologic surgeon who performs tumescent liposuction, for quick recovery - you can be back to work ( desk job) in 3 days.
Because of the sizable amount of connective tissue the area that was treated is prone to contour issues. Short of retreatment I'm not really certain there's much of a solution to the problem. Whether or not retreatment would be a possibility requires physical examination.
