Hi I am 5 days post op and was told not to wear a garment or anything with a seam for it can leave a permanent crease. All of my leggings and pants have inseams. Any suggestions?

Answer: Liposuction garment Typically at 5 days postop, most patients that have undergone liposuction are still using compression garments. I personally have not made restrictions in clothing, but talk to your board certified plastic surgeon about his/her recommendations.

Answer: Lipo of thighs Hello and thank you for reaching out. I require my patients to wear the compression garment following a liposuction procedure, but as long as they adhere to the time requirements, there are no restrictions that I place on their other clothing. I would check with your surgeon to make sure of his specific requirements. Best Wishes.
