Extra Skin in Corner of eyes and sides of nose????

Question

Hiya, im an 18, nearly 19 year old Female, I have extra skin in corners of eyes and on my nose... my nose doesnt really have any definition to it which really irritates me. I love make up but my eyes always look different to one another as one has more skin in corner, i also have quite heavy eye lids. The skin was worse when i was little and i was often mistaken for not being English! Is there any sort of Surgery for this? is it costly and does it leave obvious scars? Thanks :)

It's challenging to render an opinion without seeing what you're describing.  Trust your face to a local board-certified facial plastic surgeon or a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience in blepharoplasty to undergo an evaluation.  Don't be afraid to request before and after pictures at the time of the consultation, and to obtain second or third opinions in advance of your procedure.

It is possible that there may be some surgical procedures that could improve extra skin in the corner of the eyes and the sides of the nose, but an examination of you or at least photographs of the area would be needed to determine if anything might be of benefit to you.

Thank you for your question.  It is always difficult to give an accurate assessment without pictures or an examination.  Your concerns may be due to the skin of the eyelid or the position of the eyelid itself.  At your age, it is not common for excess skin to be the main problem, but everyone is different.  I recommend you meet with a board certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your concerns and give you an understanding of what exactly is causing your irritation.  good luck
