4 weeks post op and my nose looks fat and shapeless for my face. Is this just swelling? (Photo)

Help .. I had open rhinoplasty 4 weeks ago and feel my nose is flat fat and has no shape .. My nose was slim before the op the aim was to bring in my profile and my nose slightly closer to my face and reduce my tip a little .. The side profile I love it's the front and the side front that look weird .. The bridge looks wider and my nose in general look shapeless and strange for my face? Is this just the swelling? Will I see shape and bone and will it look more refined?

  Dear eks7,  You can drive 2-3 days after surgery if you are off pain medications, you can see clearly (no swelling around the eyes and if you wear glasses, they sit properly on your face), you can maneuver the car safely (upper body, breast surgery) and you are not sick or nauseated....

You do have some asymmetry of your nose which could possibly be somewhat improved through rhinoplasty.  However, the key to your glasses sitting straight may be related to the type of nose piece on the glasses.  Look for separate eyepads that can be adjusted.  Also, perhaps...

 Rhinoplasty's do not result in the Michael Jackson look unless you go to a surgeon who is poorly trained. I have done rhinoplasty as have many other surgeons on the site without any results remotely looking like that. Choose a surgeon who is very experienced and does natural looking noses...
