While some edema, or swelling, is very common after liposuction procedures even when not associated with fat grafting, typical postoperative edema tends to improve significantly by 6 months. While at 6 months there may be some residual swelling it is typically not as noticeable as yours appears to be. I recommend that you return to your plastic surgeon for an in-person exam to ensure that there is no fluid collection or other process that can be treated!
